A Weekend in Zurich, part 2

March 5, 2013

Since I live in somewhat close proximity of the Swiss border at the moment, my flatmate Anne and I decided to use an extended weekend for a mini holiday.

Apart from wandering around the city, we also used the cold but sunny weather to (first take the train and then) climb up the 873 metres to the top of the Uetliberg.

We caught a fairly cold weekend (and it certainly didn’t get warmer the higher we went) but fortunately the view made up for my frozen toes and being almost killed by the adventurous sledding of some six-year-olds.

On our last day we went to Kafi Dihei, an adorably cosy little café, for some awesome breakfast.

We also quickly stopped by Sprüngli and I managed to convince Anne to get some Luxemburgerli with me, which we declared to be a great life choice later on (because they were really, really tasty).
